About Our Food

At El Chinito Gordo, we don’t just make authentic Mexican food- we live and breathe it. Our menu is inspired by Central Mexican recipes passed down through generations, carefully refined in a way that preserves tradition and elevates Tucson’s Mexican culinary scene. We’ve melded flavors, textures, spices, and ingredients in meaningful ways that evoke a deep sense of true, Mexican home-style cooking.
